I thought you knew
There’s a time and place for all these thoughts
You’ve been having
And I told you
Just drink coffee, not whiskey about it
And your parents walls
Can’t hold you in this position that you’re in
And truth be told
You’re getting old
You’re probably talkin’ babies
At 30 years old
In my head
I’d make you decent while you
Made me so happy so happy
And I’m trying to get better, not bitter about it
And your parents walls
Can’t hold me in this position you put me in
What can you afford
You’re getting bored
I’m not the only one
At 30 years old
And your hands are
Tired from digging through shit
For almost 30 years
supported by 6 fans who also own “Whatever Floats Your Boat (Sinks My Heart)”
I am pretty sure I love this album because of lines like this:
"Time cast a spell on you and you will forget me
I know I could have loved you, but you would not let me
I will follow you down ’til the sound of my voice still haunts you
You’ll never get away from the sound of the woman that loved you" . Somehow they hit really hard, even though the instrumentation is coercing you to sway back and forth in a positive form. quiet_calm_deceased
